The format this year will again have speakers on the first day talking about the importance of the platforms of the Foundation (i2b2 and tranSMART), their history as well as a look at several success stories using the platforms in clinical and precision medicine. During the first day, a review of the Foundation platform roadmap will be presented.
More detailed discussions and a breakout session will be held on the platforms during the second day. This will take place at Countway Library. See the LOGISTICS page for more details.

On Day 2 we are working to put together multiple break-out session spanning the topics of current Foundation Working Groups (User Interfaces, Ontologies, ETL, Use Cases, etc.) along with topics of interest in the areas of open source architecture, integration tools like PIC-SURE, etc. Other topics of interest to the community will be added. Paul Avillach and his team will hold sessions on the genomic medicine platform based on PIC-SURE and that incorporates the production releases of both i2b2 and tranSMART.
